Flower & Herb Rolled Goat Cheese Recipe

Makes: 6 to 8 servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Passive Time: 1 hour
Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes

  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup organic edible flowers
  • Crackers, for serving

  1. In a bowl, combine goat cheese, fresh basil, and black pepper.
  2. Grease your hands with olive oil and form a mixture into a 1-inch thick round disk.

  4. Remove plastic wrap and decorate with edible flowers as desired.
  5. Serve with your favorite crackers or toasted bread slices.

Notes:

For the best results, remove the petals from the buds so they lay flat on the outside of the goat cheese ball.

Need another fun idea? Create small balls (about 3 to 4) out of the goat cheese mixture and cover with different flowers of the same color. This is a gorgeous addition to a charcuterie board.
The goat cheese ball can be chilled for up to 2 days before covering with edible flowers and serving.
