Jihi Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the "Company" or "we"), respects your privacy and we are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this privacy policy (this "policy").

This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit our website located at https://www.jihi.com/, as well as any subpages and any software applications available therefrom, including but not limited to recipes.jihi.com, my.jihi.com, and cycles.jihi.com (collectively, the "Website"), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

This policy applies to information we collect:

  • Through mobile and desktop applications you access or download from this Website, which provides dedicated non-browser-based interaction between you and this Website.

Children Under the Age of 18

The Website is not intended for children under 18 years of age. No one under age 18 may provide any personal information to or on the Website. Choices About How We Use and Disclose Personal Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over personal information:

  • Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of the Website may then be inaccessible or not function properly.
  • Promotional Offers from the Company. If you do not wish to have your email address used by the Company to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt-out by emailing us at sayhi@jihi.com. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions. This opt out does not apply to information provided to the Company as a result of a product purchase, warranty registration, product service experience or other transactions.
  • Text Messages and Push Notifications for Transactional Purposes. By providing us with your telephone number, you are authorizing us, our service providers, and their and our respective affiliated companies to deliver or cause to be delivered SMS text messages, texts, push notifications, and voice message notifications for transactional purposes. Please note that standard message rates and data charges from your cellular service provider may apply to sending and/or receiving text messages. You are solely responsible for such message rates and data charges. The use of SMS text messaging services shall be limited to transactional purposes only. We will not sell any information obtained through the use of SMS text messages.

We do not control third parties’ collection or use of personal information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have personal information collected or used in this way. We cannot delete personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

Communications With Company Processing Agents

By providing your contact information to us (including, without limitation, your name, email address, physical address, and phone number) (collectively "Contact Information") to us, you expressly consent to receive communications from us. You may not provide any contact information about any third party. We may use your Contact Information to communicate with you, to send information that you have requested or to send information about other products or services developed or provided by us or our business partners, provided that, we will not give your Contact Information to another party to promote their products or services directly to you without your consent or as set forth in this policy. By using the Website, you expressly consent to receive in-product communications from us. By providing your phone number to us, you expressly consent to receive phone calls and/or text messages from us. MESSAGE AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY. We will not give your phone number to another party to promote their products or services directly to you without your consent or as set forth in this policy. You are solely responsible for any carrier charges incurred as a result of a phone and/or text communications from us.

Any communication or material you transmit to us by email or otherwise, including any data, questions, comments, suggestions, or the like is, and will be treated as, non-confidential and nonproprietary. Except to the extent expressly covered by this policy, anything you transmit or post may be used by us for any purpose, including but not limited to, reproduction, disclosure, transmission, publication, broadcast, and posting. Furthermore, you expressly agree that we are free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques contained in any communication you send to us, as well as any data developed using the content of such communication, without compensation and for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to, developing, manufacturing, and marketing products and services using such information.

Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is encrypted and stored on secure, HIPAA compliant, servers. We implement the following controls to insure data security and reliability:

Encryption: All sensitive data transmitted through our app is encrypted using SSL/TLS encryption protocols. Data stored on our servers is encrypted using AES-256 encryption to ensure its confidentiality.

Authentication: We require strong authentication methods, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), to protect user accounts. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

User Responsibilities: We encourage users to maintain the security of their accounts by choosing strong passwords and not sharing their login credentials with others.

Security Breach Notification: In the unlikely event of a security breach, we will notify affected users promptly and provide details on the nature of the breach and the steps taken to resolve it.

Compliance: We comply with data protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA (where applicable), and are committed to upholding the highest standards of privacy and security for our users.

The safety and security of personal information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of the Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Website like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of the Website.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. PHI Policy

As part of the services offered through the Website (the "Services"), you may submit health information that can be used to identify you or someone for whom you are acting on their behalf ("PHI") that is subject to protection under certain privacy laws ("Privacy Laws"). In the event we obtain any PHI through your use of the Services, we will use, store, and disclose any such PHI only in compliance with applicable Privacy Laws. At any time that we have PHI, as it relates to you as an individual and not any third party, in our possession, you have the right to: (a) obtain a copy of your PHI; (b) correct your PHI; (c) in most cases, ask us to limit the PHI we share; and (d) obtain a list of those individuals or businesses with whom we have shared your PHI. If you are a practitioner or other health provider, we will require the consent of the individual to whom the PHI relates and may require appropriate remedial action be taken for any inadvertent disclosure of a third party’s PHI.

We will promptly notify you if a data breach occurs that may have compromised the privacy or security of any PHI that you have disclosed to us, but no later than sixty days after we discover the breach, in accordance with all applicable Privacy Laws. We may email you if you have provided us with your current email address. In limited circumstances when we have insufficient or out-of-date contact information, we may provide notice in a legally acceptable alternative form.

You may revoke your authorization to disclose any PHI at any time, but it will not affect any PHI that we have already used and disclosed. PHI that the law permits or requires us to disclose may be further shared by recipients and is no longer protected by law or the safeguards and restrictions in place when it is in our possession.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

If we make material changes to how we treat our users’ personal information we post a notice on the Website home page. The date this privacy policy was last revised is identified at the top of this policy. You are responsible for reviewing this policy to check for any changes.

Terms of Use
